Stop Worrying
Did you know that 40 million Americans suffer from anxiety?
That's a whole 18.1%
Now my title may seem dismissive, but I assure you...
I get it.
However, some of the best advice I have gotten was to simply recognize intrusive thoughts.
Ask yourself.
Is it reasonable?
Why am I Thinking this?
Am I overthinking this?
The answers I find are usually, No, because you psyching yourself out of something (probably) good for yourself, and...
Ohohoho... Yes, a lot.
I write this because I have had a real brawl with these intrusive thoughts recently.
A real fight,
A real punch-up,
A real scuffle,
A real struggle.
Turns out the thoughts that were keeping me up at night were just totally wrong and things worked out better than I could have hoped.
Go figure.
Now go figure yourself into a better mindset!
